Retreat Overview:
This retreat is designed to be much more than a traditional CEU conference.
Our goal is to create an experience where helping professionals don’t simply learn evidence-based practices; they experience them firsthand.
The first day will focus primarily on continuing education and client-facing clinical content, but not in a lecture-heavy format. Instead, we’ll use experiential learning, discussion, movement, outdoor environments, reflection, and active participation to model the same approaches we encourage our clients to use.
The second day shifts toward clinician wellness, restoration, connection, and sustainability. We’ll have honest conversations about burnout, moral injury, compassion fatigue, decision fatigue, stress management, systemic barriers, and how we continue caring for others while also caring for ourselves.
Location: Camp Ondessonk, Southern Illinois
